1. Variety source
Selected and bred by the Xinjiang Academy of Forestry, it is named after its successful cultivation in the 185th Regiment and is one of the early maturing walnut varieties mainly promoted in Xinjiang.
2. Appearance features
The shell is as thin as paper: the shell thickness is only 0.6~1.0 millimeters, and it can be opened by hand. The kernel yield is as high as 62% or more (about 50% for ordinary walnuts).
Full fruit shape: The fruit is relatively large (weighing about 15-20 grams per fruit), round or oval in shape, with a smooth surface and tight sutures.

Light white kernel color: The kernels are plump, with a light yellow to milky white color, delicate and sweet taste, and extremely light astringency.
